Rep. McDermed is hosting her annual free drive through shred truck event to help residents securely dispose of sensitive documents. This event is socially distant and there is a limit of two paper grocery size bags or two file size cardboard boxes per vehicle.
In addition, Rep. McDermed is asking that those dropping off their documents to be shredded bring some items to donate to local food pantries. Frankfort food pantry which will be the main beneficiary of the drive. The pantry accepts standard foods like non-perishables, canned pasta, canned fruit, granola bars, soups, peanut butter, jelly, and condiments. In addition, they also collect other foods like feminine hygiene products, lotions, toilet paper, and shampoo and conditioner.
